Alan Dickinson  is a Chartered Building Surveyor having experience since 1983 in surveying and architectural work in Rye and Hastings. He obtained the Graduate Diploma in Building Conservation at the Architectural Association in 2010.

 

Work with a conservation emphasis has been complemented by voluntary experience since 1980 in the archaeological and analysis of buildings, including the preparation of reports deposited at National Monuments Record.

 

Alan Dickinson is an Affiliate of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation and a member of the Vernacular Architecture Group and the Wealden Buildings Study Group. Publications include “Around Rye in Old Photographs” 1989 , “Rye and Winchelsea 2002” and “Rye Through Time” 2011.

 

The practice also works in association with Michael Harris Assoc RICS ACIOB who can offer project management and cost advice services and with Philip Holden BA (Hons) Arch, Dipl Arch RIBA who specialises in Architectural Design, Detailing, Working and Construction Drawings 3D Presentation Drawings

 

The practice is assisted by Lesley Voice BSC (Hons) an experienced researcher in buildings history and archaeology.
